I devoured it! Did not disappoint, but not as fun as the first one.

I liked the first book more. This book was pretty much all about a man who couldn’t make a choice. I was so frustrated during the story.
But I liked the romance in this book, so it was an enjoyable read.

After book one the sequel had big shoes to fill. It did not disappoint. I wanted to scream at Fox for being so stubborn. I loved Hannah’s strength and protective-ness over Fox. I want more, these two books are going to be comfort reads forever.

I read It Happened One Summer last year, and I’ll definitely say I preferred that to Hook, Line, and Sinker BUTTTTTTT I love Fox and Hannah so damn much! Their banter was so delicious, and Fox is so frickin sweet (and also naughty in the best way). I feel like the plot dragged a bit with the back and forth, but I still thought their story was adorable and that EPILOGUE HAD ME BAWLING

well, i was correct and i enjoyed this book's characters far more than the first. i felt as though the story was better too.. more relatable, maybe. a spicy, corny love story. it was a good choice for my girl's trip read!
