The only reason I finished this book was because it was my only form of entertainment while waiting for my friend in the ER. I don't know if I wouldn't finished it outside of those extenuating circumstances. It might get better but I'm not willing to find out.

[this listing is for the entire series, not just vol 1] 
the ending genuinely totally ruined the entire thing. like...... i dont want to read a story like that only for it to end Like That. and even if the ending were good there were some... questionable decisions throughout the whole thing.
i did very much enjoy all the conspiracy/politics/street gang/mafia warfare plot goin on tho. and ash and eiji are cute :) also shorter, my best friend shorter.

definitely tosses you right into the plot but you pick up on it pretty quickly. only critique is a lot of the characters look similar so it can be hard to tell them apart
