This series is just getting better and better. The humans are truly the most terrifying of the monsters in this book. The description of the kelpie was creepy cool.

[Third Read - 2022 - 4.5 stars]

Heat Level: Medium
Spoilersome kissing, implied sex scene

This one is still painful. In fact I put off reading the end for about a week. I still love the characters and while this plot is interesting and progresses the overarching plot, it is unfortunately overshadowed by the events for me personally. I still ended up bumping it up half a star though.

[Second Read - 2019 - 4 stars]
This one hurts a bit when I read it with the events that happen toward the end. I do love the support that Mercy gets from multiple sources around her though. She feels alone, but realizes she's far from it. Another good installment in the series. I am enjoying this reread more than I thought I would.
