Sexy reimagining of Aladdin, wherein Jasmine and Jafar have a thing for one another and Aladdin is the “bad guy”. I liked the spice. I liked the story. There were several glaring spelling/grammatical errors and a rush to the wrap up at the end that made me drop the rating slightly.

I liked this story, especially the end. Jasmine through started out waffling and simpering at time came into her own and I love it! <spoilers> I didn’t like the daddy kink at all.

After reading the dark Olympus series, this one didn’t really live up to the same quality but I still enjoyed the book. I’m hoping now that the characters have been introduced that the story will pick up more like the dark Olympus books did. The smut was a lot sexier but use of the words “daddy” and “baby girl” made me cringe massively. Still looking forward to the rest of the series and hopefully it improves a little bit.

This book was DIRTY, like hot fucking damn! I am not a huge Disney person, but this, this I can tolerate! This is a erotica retelling of Aladdin, following Jafar and Jasmine. Jasmine has always lived a sheltered life all because of her abusive father; until her world goes up in flames all because of Jafar. Jafar gives Jasmine a choice of walking away with nothing but her freedom or rise to his challenge to win her fortune back. Jasmine bargained & lost, which leads to Jafar owning her.

Is this an amazing book? No. Was it fun and hot? Yes. Quick erotica read if you’re into kink. The plot was not very good or interesting, but character interactions were good. A note: I switched from the audiobook to the ebook about halfway through in large part because I hate the male narrator’s voice.
