My least favorite of the series so far. A boy obsessed Mia is just annoying. The Jane Eyre bits made me laugh though.

I did end up liking the narrator of this one so Princess Diaries gets to live for another book. This one is actually my highest rated of the series. Mia is still super annoying but I don’t know if she’s rubbing off on me of what. I really enjoyed when her and her grandmother would go head to head, there was a lot of that this book cause Mia was adamant that she hated Michael. And Michael was so sweet this book, he was the reason I’ve kept on cause I wanted to see him and Mia together.

Fun, cute, refreshing. Suitable for YA. The awkward and naive Princess while she is waiting for her role of lifetime.

Even though it feels like I won’t ever rate these books higher than 3 stars, I still had a fun time reading this book.

Michael is cute but I don't love how quick Mia is in jumping to conclusions and being extremely insecure about her relationship with him. Also, I realized that we don't get a lot of information on what is taught in Mia's princess lessons. Is Grandmère that bad of a teacher that Mia is still not at least somewhat competent in conducting herself as a princess?
