I knew I had to read this, because I love Padmé and always want more of her. The relationships between Padmé and all the handmaidens are wonderful and so sisterly. I loved seeing more of the political maneuvering, like in the Clone Wars, and how all the girls had to learn to navigate. And SABE. I love Sabé.

When I first watched the star wars prequels, I was ready for Padme to be one of my all time favourite characters, and she was for a short time, until she was no longer a character and just a love interest. Then, when we saw all of her amazing speeches in The Clone Wars and how amazing of a character she could have been, I knew I wanted to know more. So, I decided to listen to this book. It was worth it. Although the plot was slow at times, that never bothered me because that wasn´t why I was reading it, and just seeing her grow as a person felt so inspiring. To end this horribly structured review, I would just like to say that anyone who wants to either know more about Padme or just have more content with her, should try out this book.
