After It Ends With Us, I was not wanting to give Colleen Hoover another try but she swept me away with this one. I cheered for both characters and cried when secrets were revealed. It was a touching story of two kids who fell theough the system trying to conquer the world.

By far my fave Colleen book! This book was amazing! The love story, the redemption, all of it! Move this to the top of your TBR list!

This one did not do it for me. I thought it was cheesy, cliche, unrealistic, and I didn’t connect with Beyah. Maybe it was superfially because I couldn’t get past the names Beyah and Samson. It did keep my attention and I read it quickly.

The romance was fine, even though I felt like it was moving way too quick, but I didn’t like the ending. It just felt so weird, like it’s been four years, Beyah, four. Years. And you still remember him (I feel like I would’ve forgotten and moved on at some point) and he’s still the same. I personally didn’t like that and also the fact that she became a lawyer because of a guy she met one summer-

The plot twist was predictable and the main character afterwards was delusional. Not my favorite coho book but got me out of a slump
