I really love this world. I liked that this one involved others more, it was nice to see how different they all were. Hate cole, his sister annoyed me in the end with how naive she was being it’s like her heads been in the sand with how crazy the queen is, was eager to see more of the jungle but didn’t see heaps. The monster fight scene was actually cool. Hope to continue soon.

I'm still shocked that this series isn't what I expected. This world is so fascinating and the story is very addicting. The characters are so well written and I'm fully invested in their survival.

For this being the second book I don't feel like it suffers from the second book syndrome in a trilogy. The plot thickens and becomes more challenging for the characters. Not one part of this book feels boring. This isn't a filler book for the series.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to the final installment. Especially since there is an extreme cliffhanger.

I loved the second book in this series, that ending though. While I wish I would’ve found this series sooner, I am so glad the third book is already out so I could move swiftly from the heartbreak the cliffhanger gave me!

I loved getting to see Ivys fierceness at claiming Katahn in this. Of taking a stand for him and for them. It was no longer just getting to see Katahn be the protector but seeing Ivys ability at being the protector for him as well.

Once I am done crying I am diving into the next.
