Absolutely awful.

I've never been more annoyed or upset by a sequel than I was by this book.

I give zero fucks that she has to use a surrogate to have a baby.

So I read the first book and loved it, the epilogue was this awesome cliffhanger that made me cry... And then I read book number 2... Why does book number 2 even exist?

All of the struggles and pain she felt from the first book was so real and tangible... Book number 2 is literally a waste of not only my time and the authors time, but the publishers time as well. I give zero fucks about the fact that she has to hire a surrogate to have a baby. And that is what the entire book is about.

5 What’s Left of Us Stars

When I found out there was a book 2 I was over joyed only I just kept putting it off and putting it off and finally it was time to read this book.

I loved this couple, they were what a romance book means to me. They have struggles sure but they communicate and work it out It isn’t all sunshine and roses. Sometimes you have to walk through the thick of it to come out on top.

I liked how they were each other’s strength they went to each other for guidance and support. Sure they had their family and friends but they have that strong sense of togetherness that just made the story that much more for me.

Again little to no dramalama which I like, everything I think happened for a reason and I could have asked for a better ending. My heart is happy.

I think Amy does a phenomenal job with the narration of both books. She was Aundrea through and through. Very much recommend.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

***Audiobook Review***

Oh what a beautiful love story! This is like the relationship every women dreams about (without the health issues). I loved that we get to see where things go after cancer. These two truly loved each other and made a amazing life for themselves. It was beautiful from beginning to end! The support system in this series is really great. I kind of thought the story line was going to take a bit of a different turn and think it would have made this story a lot more emotional but I still loved it the way it was. This is the first series I've read/listened to by this author but I would absolutely look for more by her.

Amy & Zach did a great job narrating this emotionally beautiful story!

A wonderful conclusion, written so well with a brilliant amount of depth and emotion, I felt immediately connected and I'm so glad to see the happy ending that was deserved.

I enjoyed this one. Not as much as the first book, but it was nice to see what was going on with Parker and Aundrea now that she was a cancer survivor.

"Our past shapes our future, but don't plan your future around past hardships."

"Aundrea, I was taught when you find the person you're meant to be with, you should do everything in your power to keep them. Spend every day of your life proving to them that they're worth it. You're always by my side, helping me, wanting to protect me, and showing me that I can be the best man possible."

"There is no life if it's not a life with you."

"Fear, it's all around us. It finds a way inside, lodging deep within, refusing to surrender. It latches on, following you on this path called life."

Wasn't as good as the first although they had more serious issues to deal with in this. I liked the character development but sometimes I felt Parker's voice was a bit too sensitive. Both characters seemed to spend a lot of time to talk about their feelings therefore I felt the action was lacking in this one. However the chemistry was still spot on and I gulped with emotion reading Amy's letter to Aundrea. Cancer is a sad issue but I love how Amanda Maxilyn can portray it in a way that you get a serious feeling at how it affects a person's mindset in the smallest decisions in their life.

Conversations in this book:
"OMG I love you. I can't live without you."
"No I love YOU more like so much I'm going to die."
Let's have sex and brag to everyone how special our love is."
"I'm going to do all of these over the top romantic gestures, and you my wife will likely cry for 2-5 pages."
"OMG what if I die from loving you so much?!"
"I will still see you in the stars. Let's have sex and brag to everyone how special our love is."
Repeat the over the top romantic gestures that 99.99% of REAL men wouldn't do, mix in more crying.....and that's the entire book!
