This was interesting. I kind of disliked the second person POV, though.

Read this in one sitting today! It completely captured my attention. I thought this was a wonderful story about a woman becoming liberated, and finding who she truly is — all while quite literally losing her own identity abroad.

This book truly encapsulates the experience of self-loathing oneself and desperately wanting to change into the person they believe they are. Yet — at the end of the day, she has all she needed to find herself.

Also: the plot twist about her sister and husband’s affair truly surprised me, and I thought was really well done!

I didn't think that I was going to like the 2nd person point of view. However, as the book progressed I really liked it. It gave the character more meaning and I think you felt for her after a while. Great read~

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I chose this book totally at random, based on the interesting title alone, and ended up thoroughly enjoying it. A good story entertainingly told, in a surprisingly effective use of the second person.
