This book was quite a mixed bag. Some stories felt very underwhelming whilst some were chilling, with it getting better in quality towards the back of the book. It felt like a long read at times but generally had some good short stories.

I was enjoying this book and the stories were good, but I just wasn't motivated to read this and it's not really summer anymore, so the vibes aren't the same. Will return to this next summer, though.

This wasn't as consistently good as the previous collection I read by this publisher. Some of the stories I really enjoyed, particularly the R Austin Freeman, and a couple were a bit dull, particularly the final story.
