It was okay. I liked seeing Lily’s journey, but there were definitely parts I didn’t like. Also everyone talks about how ‘Lily needs help’ or ‘Lo needs help’ and while that is definitely true, I’d like to raise another concern for someone. Ryke. Ryke needs help.
WHY WAS HE FLIRTING WITH DAISY??? HES 22 AND SHES 15!!! 15!!!
like in my personal opinion, Loren should be in rehab, Lily in therapy, and Ryke in jail ♥️

This novella focuses more on Lily's path to recovery from her addiction.  As well as her new friendships and how she learns to trust the people around her with a part of herself she always felt ashamed of, and her relationship with Lo before the events of the first book.

I loved her friendship with Ryke, even if he was distrusting of her in the beginning, and how he's there for her when Lo couldn't. I loved Ryke, quite frankly. He's doing his best to be there for his brother while he's in rehab, and for his brother's girlfriend while she's in recovery.

Rose was one of my favorite characters. I loved how she was a key part of Lily's recovery, as her big sister, and how she did everything she could to help her. Same for Connor.

I truly enjoyed it, and it made me emotional at parts.

Really didn't appreciate a male characters sexual assault being belittled on at least 3 occasions, by multiple characters. Or the copious amounts of body shaming and the derogatory remark regarding homeless people. Was all entirely unnecessary for the plot, so must have been added because the author thought it was something to be laughed at. Not even going to get started on the creepy adult/minor relationship dynamic.
