An interesting read, but the constant back and forth from one chapter to the next I found somewhat annoying.

Village life! I don't know my fellow villagers as well as the characters in this book know each other, probably because we only moved six months ago. Each part focuses on a particular character from the village, and runs through their life in the village. It is a good example of other people thinking they know what goes on behind closed doors, but in actual fact they don't always have a clue. The stories all connect up but it does feel like a lot of ground is covered to tell each persons story.

3.5 stars. I expected it to be more of a romance novel - I am so glad it wasn't. Not normally something I would choose but I liked it.
