Stacy Stover took advice from the suriel and started this book off with some piping hot tea that had me throwing guess of how the book would play out and tested myself control to not skip work to read the whole book at once.
She then proceeded to torture me as much needed tid-bits of information and further world and character development trickled in as I not so patiently waited for what the big wtf/climax moment would be. I was not disappointed. Nothing better than seeing a developing badass go off. I am still intreeged with this form of a magic system and can’t wait to see what information comes out of our characters stepping into the lions den come book 3.
