Look I knew from the moment we saw more of Conrad in Before You (book 2) that I was going to be melting for this man.. and boy was I right.

I really enjoyed exploring Conrad and Ivy’s story, so much so that I read it in one sitting and wished I had taken more time with it. I have so much love for these characters and the journey they went on while managing their own struggles, standing up for themselves and finding happiness despite it all. You best bet I’ll be rereading this one asap!

It’s been so lovely enjoying the journey of JL’s writing to date and feeling so captivated by this series/world. Sparks Fly flowed perfectly with spice, plot and humour. I can’t wait to get stuck into Chasing Shadows to see what Harley boy has been getting up to

Thank you Jennah for this ARC! I had such a good time reading this.

I adored reading this and being back in this world, I felt like this book had the best flow in the series so far. It just couldn't put it down and buzzed through it while constantly kicking my feet, that hate to love element really delivered from the first chapter.

Ivy is going through healing from the break up with her first love so she falls into bed with her brothers rival. Ivy has this sass but also softness about her and she felt so realistic and most people will likely be able to content with her. Seeing her heal by the end and stand up to her brother for who she loves was amazing.

Conrad is incredible misjudged and has a really sad back story so my heart really broke for him. I could see his smirk through the page and it simply made me weak at the knees. Silver BMW sports car? Sounds familiar too. Conrad was also a fierce protector and did everything to protect his little sister without overstepping.

THAT ENDING THOUGH!

Tropes: brothers rival, college surf romance
Triggers: toxic parent

This book had me in a choke hold resulting in finishing it in 1 day! Such a beautiful storyline and a good amount of spice about Ivy & Conrad.

I was waiting very impatiently for Ivy’s story because I didn’t believe Conrad was the right pick. I’m so happy to say that I was proven wrong in so many ways!
This was a beautiful story, and flows beautifully from the other 2. Not as ‘dark’ as #2, but still many important issues raised/ dealt with.

Again, J.L. Skye will absolutely break your heart. Thankfully she puts it back together… again!

This book has become my favourite in the series. Watching Ivy go through her hurt and come out the other side was amazing to read. I have a real soft spot for Conrad and I love that they are happy. There is a scene that days after reading it still lives in my head and makes me happy and smile. I truly love this series and can't wait for everyone to read this.
