She’s fifteen.

I read this more out of curiosity than anything because I’m not generally a spicy reader but holy shit she is FIFTEEN. Also the lack of consent and (a much more minor complaint) the very 80’s lingo. Gross.

Difficult to read at times. Definitely not the type of erotica I'm used to reading. Didn't love it but didn't hate it either.

Prince awakens Beauty, not with a kiss, but with sexual initiation. His reward for ending the hundred years of enchantment is Beauty's complete and total enslavement to him ... as Anne Rice explores the world of erotic yearning and fantasy in a classic that becomes, with her skillful pen, a compelling experience.

Ok not 🚫 for me.

Nope. Didn't like it. The writing was not what I expected from the author, granted I haven't read any of her other books but it just wasn't what I expected. It was too simple.

And I'm not into the whole subject matter. Reading this is making me cringe and roll my eyes and giggle a little bit when their reproductive organs are referred to as "his/her sex".

An absolutely wild ride...I picked up this book because every comment about it was either pure love or pure hate, so I had to see for myself. If you know nothing about bdsm, which I also do not, this book will shock you to your bones (or awaken something?) My mouth was hanging open the whole time. I read this book like watching a car crash that I couldn't look away from. I was very much pearl clutching throughout. Just wow lol. I will not be reading the rest of the series because my mind literally cannot handle it.

Hehe naughty, and one of the best erotica books I've ever read. Plot and lots of naughty light BDSM.

Too much paddling, though. Over it.

Not really what I thought it would be but I do want to read the next book. The ending left me wanting to know what will happen next.
