my kids (2, 4, and 6) really like this. It's rather clever and they of course love the unconventional page sizes and surprise drawings under them.

Like the imaginative concept and how the flaps build the drawings, but for me they got in the way a lot so I could not enjoy the story because I had to figure out how the flaps moved.

I know that the publication date is October 2012 but it was out on the shelf. I ended up appreciating this one more on a second read.
