I freaking loved this book! I am a huge sucker for boss + employee or professor + student tropes. Connor and Elizabeth’s story was soo intriguing it was very hard to put the book down when I had to. When Connor gave Elle his student flashcards? My heart melted…
And Olivia is an angel! Cannot wait to see more of them in the following books!

P.S. If anyone has any Professor + Student trope recommendations please do tell me because I cannot seem to find many.

Thank You!

Found this on my kindle last night and couldn’t wait to dive in for another Bishop cousin’s romance.

This story covers several years, and jumps ahead a few months at a time as Elizabeth (Elle) starts out working for Dr. Connor Wallen as an intern in his vet clinic while attending vet school.

Elle is attracted to Dr. Wallen, but not only is he her boss he is also a cold jerk to her most days. What she doesn’t know is he is wildly attracted to her and determined not to get involved with her in what he feels is an prohibited relationship. He is also initially dealing with a bitter divorce and custody battle for his young daughter and unwilling to risk letting his heart be at risk for any further heartache.

There are several chapters that alternate POV between Elle and Connor during a time period, before the story jumps a few months to a year ahead in time for another few chapters. This may seem like an unusual storyline technique, but it really works for this story because we really get to see each of these two characters grow and develop and react to their continued professional interactions.

When their romance ignites the story gets even better as their pent up passion is unleashed and their hidden feelings/emotions are intense. I enjoyed the appearance of so many of the Bishop family members throughout Elle and Connor’s story. Several family events, holidays and get togethers take place to allow us to see what’s happening with several of the Bishop cousins and their partners.

I received an ARC from the authors and am voluntarily leaving a review. I am eager for the next Circle B story which will be about Ethan and Harper.

It was okay, but definitely my least favorite of the series so far.

I love every trip back to the Circle B!!! The Bishop clan is definitely family goals.

Elle & Conner are great. He thinks he’s too old & has too much baggage. She’s trying to get through vet school and thinks he’s a great mentor, albeit a jerky one.

This was my first listen by Kennedy Fox. Wonderful story about a vet/single dad & his intern who is studying to be a vet. It's a slow burn but gets very steamy at the end. So worth the wait! Great narration by Tor Thom & Lia Langola (new to me narrator).

Elle and Connor were everything I knew they would be & more!
Their story is incredible. It is YEARS in the making (talk about slow burn!)

The build up to breaking point was torturous, I was constantly looking at how far through the book I was because the wait WAS. KILLING. ME.
But, Lordy lord, was it worth it.
Their chemistry, their connection, their banter, the instant love between Elle and Olivia - it was PERFECTION.

Oh, and speaking of her. How adorable was Olivia?! Despite all she had to go through, she was still a bright light in the story.
Seriously, single daddy with a cute kid? I’m a huge sucker for those stories.

I really enjoyed revisiting bits and pieces of Maize and Gavin’s adventure while reading about Connor and Elle. I also LOVE that we got to see the beginning of the next story throughout this story. I can’t wait to see where Ethan and Harper end up!
---

Tor and Lia did an amazing job bringing Elle and Connor's story to life. I had tears in my eyes at one point from the emotional tone in Lia's performance (if you have read the story, you probably know which part I'm talking about).

The circle b ranch series is getting me out of my reading slump! Wouldn’t expect any less from Kennedy Fox, they’re just too good. This series has everything you could hope for- tropes galore, spice, and it’s pretty funny too. I love seeing the bishop kids and their families continue to grow. Elle and Connor were a work romance/single father trope and I loved their chemistry! What is amazing about these stories is how they are all so different and unique but still hs e so much heart and love! This one was also definitely a slow burn

Thank you to Kennedy Fox for providing me with an ARC of Bossing The Cowboy.

Bossing the Cowboy follows our main characters Elizabeth (Elle) and Connor. Elizabeth is an up and coming vet student become vet and Connor is her stubborn and dickish boss who owns the vet that she now works at. Connor has a past with his ex-wife and is fighting for time with his precious daughter Olivia.

I think this is my favorite Circle B Ranch books yet! I am all about the asshole boss turned lover trope and this hits it right on the head. The steaminess and chemistry between Elle and Connor really sealed the deal for me. I was hooked and finished this book in one sitting! If you love angsty workplace romance, look no further than Bossing the Cowboy!

Bossing the Cowboy is a new standalone romance novel in Kennedy Foxs Circle B Ranch series. It‘s about Elle Bishop, a stubborn vet student and her handsome Boss Connor who is also a single father to an adorable little girl.

Kennedy Fox writes some of the best cowboy romance‘s I‘ve read so far. Especially this one focuses alot on the animal side with both characters working in an vet clinic. Both characters have danced around their feeling for years. Both as stubborn as the other.

I really enjoyed Elle and Connors story. They fit together very well and their story is a sweet one with very little drama in my opinion.

A feel good read!
