This was my first time reading this book & I have thoughts! It was such an intriguing premise with a really fun plot/characters & reading this series may spin me into my Greek myth retellings era! I definitely will be continuing this series & I loved it! On the other hand, this book had a plethora of extremely problematic moments that were incredibly disheartening to discover, especially considering how well loved this series is. I know Rick has actively put effort into educating himself & doing better & acknowledging his mistakes in his earlier books, etc but it was still hard to read at times. I did really enjoy it, but I also feel sadÂ
