One shouldn't read the last book in the series first... but I really enjoyed it. I should go back and read the others!

And thus, I finished the last book in this series..I am honestly pretty emotional. This was a very good ride. There’s not much else I can say, but I just really enjoyed this series and this book. The Sherlock Holmes stories have always had a special place in my heart and when I was younger I used to imagine myself into them. This was a wonderful rendition of my own 14 year old dreams and I really really liked it. So thank you.

I know it's the term that was used at the time, but the constant use of "g*psy" does really bother me. Otherwise, the book was good but I'm a bit surprised by
SpoilerEudoria's death
and curious to see where it goes from here.

Heart-warming ending to the saga, I like how there was ample time to tie up the series long plot as well as the stand alone plot

Perhaps teetering into 3.5 territory, but I generally had fun with it. So, it's a 4.
