I love Stephanie Brown as Batgirl. She's funny, not too serious, yet quite effective as well. Her quips while fighting do an excellent job of offsetting the dark tone of some stories.
I loved the main story in this volume, with digital zombies taking over Gotham. The last bit, though, was only OK.

Stephanie Brown is one of my favorite DC characters, and might even one of my all-time favorites. She's funny, smart and above-all, a teenage girl. Oracle, again, ranks very highly for me, and the relationship the two of them have formed is very important to me. Also, who doesn't love Supergirl?

So, Steph finally graduated from Spoiler to Batgirl. Geez, it's been a long time since I've been in comics. These 3 stories are decent enough, and a pretty good read - though nothing that would make me want to jump back in to paying for monthly comics.

still better than average, but still slightly too close to average to make it stick in the memory

I enjoy the lighter tone in this series. Maybe something the latest incarnation of Batgirl is trying to recreate? (The Batgirl of Burnside, that is, not just New 52.) The final chapter, featuring Supergirl was particularly good and fun.

Stephanie Brown as Batgirl, with help from Oracle and a new computer whiz, Proxy, formerly of the Teen Titans, and daughter of villain Calculator who blames Oracle for taking his daughter away from him.
Also includes a very funny short with Batgirl and Supergirl, BFF.

Even more fun than the first volume, with Wendy Harris finally coming off of the sidelines and a good villain to threaten both Batgirl and Oracle (and there's even a callback to Final Crisis!) The writing is still light and zippy, although the art still leaves a bit to be desired. The hidden gem of the collection is the two one-shots that are included though, with Stephanie coming up with a crazy yet totally appropriate plan to stop Clayface, and a Supergirl/Batgirl team-up story that's just a lot of fun.

Just as enjoyable as volume 1! I love the humor Stephanie brings to the series. I also love Batgirl taking on Gotham villains whether it is by herself or with Oracle, Nick Gage, Proxy, and/or Supergirl. Watching her be able to bond even slightly with another young woman whose father was a super-criminal was awesome too.

Barbara Gordon and Stephanie Brown together! And then add in Supergirl and fighting vampires! YAY.
