I really liked it! Just a heads-up, there's a prequel on the authors blog, livejournal.

Both guys were really manly. I felt bad for Trey mostly. He loved Danny, but Danny wouldn't let go of the past.

I would love another story with these guys as characters. Maybe have Ginny work her problems out. Then we could see more of Trey and Danny.

There was something exceptionally smooth about this read. I really got into the characters, or should I say Trey and Danny because I felt like they really fit. The plot wasn't anything to gasp over and I was a bit shocked when it ended but I loved the chemistry in this.

I knew I shouldn't have started this at bedtime; it kept me up half the night because I just couldn't put it down.

Mitchell writes great characters and great, realistic conflict; Trey and Daniel are flawed but still likeable, and the obstacles that stand between them feel believable rather than contrived. I periodically wanted to smack one or both of them for stupidity in dealing with the other, but it was the real kind of stupid that happens when people are in emotionally charged situations. In fact, I was often reminded of times when I'd wanted to smack a friend for the same exact kind of stupidity.

The suspense/mystery plot is interesting and well written, the pacing perfect to keep the action moving while giving Trey and Daniel a chance to work through their feelings, and the ending is both honest and cynical.

Did not like the MCs, especially Daniel.

Read for m/m team bingo special holiday theme challenge.
The mystery was interesting but the resolution of it was less than satisfying. Probably, it was realistic, but didn't mean I had to like the way it was closed. There were a lot of sex scenes, but I mostly skimmed over that later on, so it didn't bother me too much.

I liked Daniel and Trey together, but individually, they were jerks. :)

I want to go shopping for everything else K.A. Mitchell has ever written.

I've been in a bit of a funk lately, trying to find a good m/m book to read. Abandoned quite a few after just several chapters because the characters lusting after each other was just so tiresome. I'll admit that is an odd comment for a book that is almost 50% erotica (or it seemed that way), but the rest of the book was made up of an awesome plot mystery that was exciting and nerve-wracking.

I loved the characters. They seemed a little similar at times, which made the POV changes a little confusing for awhile. And that is the only negative thing I can think of.

As I mentioned above, there was a lot of sex scenes. Totally not complaining! :D

The book was very hard for me to put down, and I even ignored my computer for an hour and a half to sit and finish the last 100+ pages.

Uugh, now what am I going to read?

Re-read was kinda better. Love these guys and the mystery is pretty solid. As always HOTNESS and half. Love me some KA Mitchell.
