A much easier read than Wolf Hall I found, mostly due to being more accustomed to Mantel's style of writing. Also, the plot seemed more fast paced than the first book, Anne Boleyn makes for a more interesting character study than Wolsey in places and this interpretation of her fall was interesting to read from a close perspective. Overall, enjoyed very much, shall try and conquer The Mirror and the Light before the end of the year.

Another fantastic novel, Mantel has given us a look at Cromwells career and tries to show us the man he might have been. I find him fascinating and the writing is endlessly readable. Looking forward to the Trilogy conclusion.
