Thoroughly convinced I need to go to Wyoming to find the love of my life. I actually really like Clare’s writing, even with some cringe elements in it they still make good comfort reads and honestly love Cass and Eli’s relationship and characters.

"She was a mixture of sexy and broken all at once"

Cass is pulled unconscious from her car after she wraps it 'round a tree in a blizzard. When she comes to she can't remember who she is and she's snowed in on a cattle ranch with ranch animals and the cowboy who rescued her for company.

Christmas Romance Cliché #7 if I'm not mistaken. Jessica Clare gives us two likable characters in an angsty slow-burn romance. I smiled at the appropriate places, said "Awwww" at the ranch animals and tutted at how many rom-com issues could be averted if people would learn to speak. to. each. other. But I had fun doing it.

3.5 Christmas stars. Worth reading. I'll probably grab the next book next Christmas :)

All I Want for Christmas is a Cowboy is the first book in the Wyoming Cowboy series and I had such a wonderful time with this one here. It actually really surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. I had forgotten how much Jessica Clare really works for me and this one was just perfection to be honest. I absolutely adored it in every way. It was also such a great Winter themed read. It does have a Christmas focus, but that isn't too strong, seemed pretty balanced if you just want a good winter romance with not too much Christmas themes. But if you want a solid Christmas read, then this will also satisfy as well.

This story begins with our heroine, who gets into a car crash, gets amnesia and gets rescued by Eli who is a cowboy and rancher. He is totally satisfied spending the holiday alone with his dogs for company and no Christmas cheer as he is a bit of a scrooge when it comes to Christmas. But then comes along this young woman, who stirs up his life in ways that he doesn't expect and a beautiful transforming love blossoms between them. But once her memory returns, will they be able to reach their HEA?

This story ended up being such a blast of good times. I absolutely adored the romance itself. If you like lots of sex scenes, then this one will be satisfying, they had LOTS of it haha Their blend of personalities was so fun. The hero is so surly and grouchy and the heroine is bubbly and sweet but stands up to the hero in all the right ways. I did enjoy seeing the way that they came together and worked through their issues. I wasn't a big fan of the third act conflict to be honest, it just didn't make sense to me. But some authors like to have this third act breakup lol it just drives me crazy when its not with a purpose.

Overall I found this installment to be fully satisfying and eager to read more of Clare's cowboys.

Can't Wait by Jennifer Ryan - December 6
I read the first book in the series, not knowing about this novella but it didn't lessen my enjoyment.

It's a sweet romance with two people who become friends before lovers. We come in at the point where Caleb and Summer already developed deep feelings for each other. He's trying to honor some man code where you don't date your best friend's sister. She's pulling out all the stops to force his hand.

I enjoyed this short, steamy and romantic story with the Christmas season as the backdrop. She's feisty and when he goes all in, it's pretty special. The ending was just what I wanted.
