Not my favorite of Ada Limon but I do like a couple of poems in this collection.

Es imposible ser mala poeta si te llamas Ada Limón. Me da vergüenza no saber leer fluido en inglés y haber usado el traductor automático porque siento que se diluyó harta belleza de estos poemas. Aún así, lo que pude entender de la traducción falopa me encantó. Tiene algo de enigmático, aunque quizá ese enigma sea por la misma traducción. Noté una mirada incisiva y sensible. Puede ser una percepción mía pero en la mayoría de los poemas sentí una voz femenina anhelante que me gustó mucho. Ojalá que alguna editorial traduzca su obra, por el momento voy a seguir intentando leerla.

Unbounded hunger for the tug of the living tree,
have mercy for this moment between fences.
She does not know how to stay unfolded
for too long in this absolute pounding. She says,
Big star, big star, bold in its opening,

hand I use for fetching what I fear, and now
I am pointing to you”.
