Not my usual read, but I enjoyed it much more than I have other realistic fiction coming of age stories.
The characters were loveable, the story was entertaining, and the switching between the past and future was very fluid.
Going into this book I wasn't sure what to expect, and I'm glad I gave it a shot!

This book reminded me of The Midnight Club by Christopher Pike and The Body by Stephen King, mixed with Gravity Falls.

The Saturday Night Ghost Club was a sad but enjoyable read. Each chapter includes a different legend or mystery that the Saturday night ghost club investigate, with the actual true story behind them being emotional. Knowing Uncle C has Lex and his family around him gave this a hopeful but bittersweet end. And it is sweet knowing Jake has Billy as a friend for life.

The Saturday Night Ghost Club was not what I was expecting. However, it is the type of book that will stay with someone for a long time.
