I’m not usually one for miscommunication tropes and it was definitely difficult to read at points. But Rory and Morgan’s relationship was endearing and had comedic moments that helped me enjoy it more. It’s a cute sapphic witchy romance where one witch spells another and she’s trying to decipher what is real and fake in their relationship, and really what she believes can be real.
When I looked past the issues in their relationship that could so easily be fixed by talking to each other. The good moments are where both of these women stand up for one another and push each other past their own personal comforts. There different strengths and weakness compliment each other nicely and help each other as they navigate the witch world.

The characters were fun and I was rooting for them. However, the plot was predictable and the main conflict was frustrating to read.
Moderate: Sexual content
Minor: Mental illness
