Lots of world building, I have more questions than answers. Enjoyable read, I will definitely look to get the next one.

It was great

This was a whole new take on the paranormal scene and I am totally hooked. There is a great group of characters all with their own stories and I hope we find them out in the series.

I enjoyed the characters, I enjoyed the world and I enjoyed the plot of A GHOST OF A CHANCE.

The characters are my favorite part of this series so far. I want to know more about each and every one of them.

The plot was mysterious and full of suspense. Everything happened at a great pace. There is so much more we need to know about the world and the team, but I am interested in learning all the secrets there are to reveal.

I look forward to GIVE UP THE GHOST.

Kat is a Nightblood (vampire), however she's not a pureblood. She has powers that pureblood Nightblood don't possess, and if someone finds out, she'll die. She works in the Nightwatch to make sure that rogue supes don't ruin the natural glamour and magic that Earth has, but when she's sent to work in a city in the middle of nowhere, her secret powers are what will keep her alive.

I liked the story and how the supes were just labeled as vampires or werewolves; however, I felt like this book missed the adrenaline feelings and the page-turning addiction that I found in other series from Debbie Cassidy that I read.

"History shows that fear overcomes logic. Humans will fear us, and they will seek to eliminate that which they fear, and in doing so, they will lead to their own extinction.
So, we hid, and we protected, and we hoped that the glamour never failed."

Interesting world building, and magic system- but I'm hoping the characters will grow on me a bit more in the next books.

But I am really interested in the baddies background and the h's childhood and potential powers
