I literally feel so smart for figuring out the trapped vampire was her dad. So glad the boys are all getting along and Felix is dead. Hallelujah!!!!! I still think King is titan but I’m waiting to see. The part where she recognizes his eyes makes me feel like I could be right. I knew Roary was going to get arrested since there’s another series but reading it was so painful. He was really growing on me. Finally getting all the backstory between Dante and Juniper was also fascinating. Still don’t like Elise’s mom she’s so selfish. I don’t think Gareth manages to escape and I think he’s actually dead even though there were a few chapters trying to convince me otherwise. Also fuck old Sal she sucks glad she’s dead. Ryder has surprised me and is now my favorite he’s such a softie.

Best book in the series so far. The smut was top tier, the banter is great, Leon is literally the best, there’s so much character growth with all of them. The plot is moving nicely. It really was such a good read

this was nearly 700 pages long so it took me longer to read but there was a lot of character development so i'm not mad; that's not to say that there wasn't unnecessary scenes (or unnecessarily long scenes) but for the most part i didn't mind it. it was only in the middle where it felt like it was starting to drag and even then once i got to the next chapter/scene i was sucked in again. the guys make a lot of progress with each other after the initial setback and it does take a while to get there but it's satisfying when it does.

it felt like a LOT was being thrown at us in this book but it didn't feel super rushed because of the length and it was really fun to read. i will say that elise's hypocrisy is starting to get on my nerves. it's probably because this is the first rh i've read where the fmc is the one pushing for the harem so the dynamics feel different to what i'm used to. i think i just need to give her a chance to redeem herself and grow in the last book - which is also nearly 700 pages long so i'm liking my odds.
