i still don’t know entirely what to make of this book, but it was certainly enlightening

I thought this was extremely repetitive! The characters were very flawed and not very likeable. I think if this was a short story, it would have been better, because the message was just repeated way too many times throughout the book…

This was so beautifully written but so sad and introspective and left me hollow inside. It reminds me a lot in tone and lyrical style of Nina LaCour's We Are Okay, in terms of how I felt while reading. The inconclusive ending is heartbreaking.
