I found the story repetitive and extremely difficult to stay engaged with. Contained an excruciating amount of unnecessary detail that did nothing to further the plot or show us anything about the characters.

An entertaining and very readable book, politics, taxidermy, Namibia, homosexuality, engagements, funerals - it has it all in one slim volume.

Completely surprised when I tapped for the next page and the book was done. Points of intrigue but obviously they go nowhere.

I don't know what I expected but it surprised and entertained. A quick and easy read despite the unlikeable protagonist - the other characters including the aardvark itself were utterly charming.

This book was hilarious and I loved the intricate story structure, always cycling back and always surprising.
