Buddy Read with MacHalos

I don't know how Jen Williams did it, but she made this book exceed the first. UNBELIEVABLE. Such great talent! There was so much going on with this story. I died several times. I didn't know if I could take it anymore and carry on, but how could I NOT carry on?

So many questions still! I kept finding little crumbs I had to pick up and take back to the buddy read with me. Now it's a mad kefuffle to get the next book.

This was brilliant, and I am extremely and intensely invested in every single one of the characters and the battle they're engaged in, and feeling QUITE TENSE about the third and final book and if any of my particularly favourite characters die I am going to weep loudly on the bus, to hell with social convention.
