In this volume Finn and Jake decide to go on a unconventional quest. In this one they must convince the Monkey Wizard to kidnap Painting Princess in order to remedy the trouble they caused. It’s full of body swaps and wacky mayhem. Overall, I didn’t think it was the best but it was still pretty good.

This was okay. I felt the premise of the story was dragged out a bit longer than necessary and that the writer fell into the trap of assuming that to capture the humor of Adventure Time there needed to constantly be weird and random humor thrown in every few panels that was totally unrelated to the story.

The art was solid and I enjoyed their take on the main characters, though I was a bit disappointed that almost every denizen of Ooo they encountered was just a colored humanoid instead of something more unique. The Monkey Wizard was cool though.
