I really didn't appreciate how the man's army was more put together and survived longer than the disorganized woman's army. I mean it makes sense being written by a Morman but it's just frustrating. Women can be leaders too and since Christie (I read the audio book and don't know how to spell her name) was a leader she shouldn't have been portrayed like a bratty 8 year old throughout most of the book. The popular girls, at least in my high school, never acted like that. They had jobs, bank accounts, a vehicle, they made all their own medical appointments, and they passed the ball to people that were never included in gym class. I haven't meet someone that acted like Christie since the 6th grade which is 10/11 years old btw. I just REALLY hate the way Christie is portrayed if you can't tell. Fred however, is an awesome character and I would like a mini story about him sometime. He's more interesting than any of the others excluding Bree. I'm already regretting saying that though as I can imagine the "weak and tiny woman" Stephanie will write as his mate. Final thoughts? Christian stories ALWAYS disappoint when writing women and I wish it weren't that way.
