Spoiler
i enjoyed this book decently enough. i really liked the letter aspect of the book. but i will say the main character, andré is super oblivious to the class and status differences between him and his family’s maid. while at times it was endearing that he wanted to encourage her to be comfortable, it was frustrating that he lacked any awareness to the consequences for her.

i get that they were young and blinded by like/love and just short-sighted, but i was still mad at him for putting her and her mom in that position of having to move out. also, them being siblings??? the dad def should have mentioned that as he saw his son falling in love with her.

overall, a decent enjoyable read!
