This book featured vampires in a new and unique way which is hard to do because there are so many vampire books out there. I adored all the characters and the author did a great job at making them feel realistic. Even though the plot twist was a little predictable, the book kept me hooked the whole time. The writing was great and the pace was pretty fast. Definitely recommend.

BookTok suggested this book to me on the grounds that it was a similar vibe as ACOTAR meets Hunger Games. While I can see why BookTok says this, I was very meh about it. The character development was there, the world building was great. But I was left wanting more from the book. I liked it but the last 10 chapters left me so... disappointed? Unfulfilled?
