Very predictable twists and plot, but very cute! The humor is nothing to applaud, and the messages were force fed down your throat. But it was cozy and cute.

What an absolutely delightful book! I loved this book - it was sweet and thoughtful and full of the types of quotes you want to put on your bathroom mirror. The eclectic cast of characters were so well written and I instantly fell in love with everyone living at Nowhere House. The story was was well done, with a few little twists and turns to keep me engaged. It made me laugh out loud at parts I love a good found family story, and this one was so cozy and lovely. This is the type book that makes you want to curl up with a cup of tea. I would definitely read it again and would highly recommend it.

Very cute. I don't think this story is finished though, it felt much more like an introduction to a world rather than a complete story. The plot point I'm most concerned about is the curse that witches dies shortly after they give birth - doesn't give me a lot of hope for Mika and Jamie, unless they decide not to have biological children (which is totally valid).

I finished this book with a literal tear in my eye. It is perfect, and I have nothing to say about it beyond that.

This is a refreshing read during the fall season where I'm reading creepy spooky books. I loved the plot and the characters.  The children were well done. I could see my sisters and I in those little girls. This book is so heartwarming. Mika is asked to help three little girls explore their magical powers in a safe environment. She is there to protect them from themselves and the outside world.  Mika has never had a family, so when she joins Nowhere House she is surprised by all the love she feels between the girls and their caretakers.
