Vivid, poignant, raw, and emotionally devastating. The writing style is honest and holds nothing back.

A beautiful memoir about a life i know very little about, the life of a professional violin player. It made me cry, made me want to put it down because it was too painful to read. At the same time I couldn't put it down because I had to know where the story was going.

The addition of the playlist was incredible. I loved listening to the music while reading about it.

The reason I give it four stars, not five, is because it's sometimes difficult to follow. This happens often with memoirs as the writer is not a professional.

Would absolutely recommend reading this though!

I loved reading this tender look at how an object can change and shape someone's entire world. I loved this book.

Even if you don't know much about classical music or orchestra, it's still a very good read!
