This audiobook has been SO DAMN helpful for me. I seriously suggest it if you are questioning the root of your depression and wanting something more from your life. I knew I felt unsettled in our modern society and craved a simpler life, just now I understand why.

It's silly to say this book will cure you, but it has helped me a lot.

The point is driven home with accessible length and I found myself slightly frustrated that the book needed to be this long when it could have been a long-form article in The New Yorker or The Atlantic. Nonetheless, it’s important and I ironically started reading this the week I started medication for anxiety myself, so read this and engage with your community, people. You’ll literally be happier for it.

I read this because of a recommendation from a friend who loves this.
It has a good mix of personal storytelling in terms of the author telling their own experience and including others.
I dnf'ed it, but I still feel like i learnt some pretty valuable things from it.
