Sebastian is the youngest Gallo and he had NBA dreams until Callum’s bodyguard destroyed his knee. With Dante gone with Simone and his father starting to succumb to an aging mind, Sebastian is having to fill the shoes of mafia boss, a job he never prepared for or really wanted.

When he stops the kidnapping of the Russian Bratva Princess, Yelena he begins to think maybe things are turning around. They fall in love hard and fast despite their families obvious reservations. It isn’t long before Sebastian is ready to commit to a lifetime with Yelena by his side ruling Chicago together.

Yelena has had a hard life. Her father is a bully and the only shining light in her life is her twin brother Adrian. When her father orders her to get closer to Sebastian the last thing she expected was to fall for him. She is overjoyed when he feels the same and feels like this may be her chance to escape from under her father’s oppressive thumb.

Secrets and lies fracture these two as old insults that were never answered for come back to haunt them. Can their trust once broken ever be regained? What is Yelena willing to give up to prove her loyalty to Sebastian?

Sebastian has had my heart from the first book and I just knew his book would be epic but holy f**** sh** this one is insane! The steam is epic, the betrayal, the death and the revenge are everything. This one will have you dying to get to the next part. And the scene with Yelena in the basement will have you in a puddle. Hands down one of the hottest scenes in any of her books.

This is the perfect conclusion to a must read series. If you haven’t started this series you are missing out.

I really liked this book, though it wasn’t my favorite out of the whole series I’d have to give that to Nero and Camille, but this book definitely had me at the edge of my seat. I’m really happy to have completed the brutal birthright series, and I loved how the epilogue was the opening for the next series to come. Sebastian’s character growth was everything in this book, it might’ve taken him to hit rock bottom, but he’s become a fierce leader, as well as Yelena who really pissed me off in the beginning of the book

Wow … this was a great way to end the series. I’m sad with what happened in the book, but it wrapped everything up & the epilogue set it up for the Kingsmakers series. Which I will also be reading.

The book didn’t have a ton of romance in it. Of course, we get to see Sebastian & Yelena. But it was mostly about conflict between the Gallos & the Bravta. Setting up, Sebastian but then having it all fall down..

Anyways, i wish we could have seen more about Yelena & Sebastian’s relationship. But I’m happy with how everything ended
