This was an enjoyable read. After the first few chapters I wasn't sure what I was going to get, but it turned out to be really cute. I thought the characters were fun and had a lot of chemistry, even though Sam rubbed me the wrong way in the beginning. But he redeemed himself and was actually such a caring person/teacher!
There was third act drama that I could have done without, and with Juliet being so organized, I found her forgetfulness out of character. Also, being a teacher, some of the education stuff had me giving a bit of a side eye. Even so, I thought this was a solid read, which also had a lot to do with some side characters, Mason and Pops in particular!

Not interesting enough. Didn’t like that they brought up teacher names and thought about school related things during spicy time.

Allie Marie’s “Apple of my Eye” was the perfect combination of heart warming and steamy! These characters are forever in my head after reading this and I cannot wait to dive into more of Allie Marie’s work after enjoying this as much as I did!!! As a teacher I love a good education/academia read, and when it’s contemporary romance, I’m there. This one melts the feel-good-ness of being a teacher and making connections with students with a cute opposites attract, bantery love story (The banter though, honestly, too good!)
I highly recommend this one to any and all romance readers but especially if you’ve ever taught! It’s super accurate and I couldn’t help but nod along and sometimes commiserate with the teacher characters! This may just have to be a comfort read for me now!

Juliet and Sam, Fordy and Ms. B, have my heart. Also, Sam and Mason’s relationship and then Juliet and Mason’s relationship is so sweet. I love them so bad.
