Super quick and cute listen. I found this in my audible books and thought I’d give it a go, easy t follow and cute but typical characters.

I'm not an ardent fan of romance novels. I prefer the relationships to be a subplot. However, this book had a cute blurb, so I read it. It started well but went on to be a cliche plot. I recommend this to anyone looking for a breezy romance novel that's cute.

This was a cute little quick read. I honestly wish it was longer, because I think it would have benefited from more space. But it was a cute idea and not badly done.

Still looking for my perfect holiday romance, but this was a nice appetizer.

Meh. The premise is cute, but the story is kind of boring and predictable. The heroine was ok, the hero was annoying.

After reading some negatives reviews of this book I still decided to give it an opportunity, and while I agree with what they say about the problematic aspects of the male character the truth is I really enjoyed this novella, I think is really cute and charming.

3.5 i think?

super fun christmas office romance that had fake dating and was kind of enemies to lovers!

i liked how they included more serious backstories to give the characters more range but i wished we got more of the enemies section because they fell in love pretty darn quick (but granted this was only about 130 pages so i guess we were limited in space)

the fact their names are the same but backwards was very cringe and both names were kinda stupid so that was a bit annoying lmao but i understand that the names was the whole basis of the story so not much can be done there

i read this really quick and it was really fast paced, giving super cute scenes without going overboard with boring details and we got through a lot in a short amount. overall a super fun quick christian read not to be taken too seriously

“Looking for someone, Riley? Perhaps, Mr. Riley?” a deep, raspy voice said from over my shoulder.
 - The Christmas Pact

Tropes: Workplace (Publishing), Enemies to Lovers, Fake Dating, Forced Proximity, Only One Bed
Spice Scale: 🌶
CW: Grief, Cheating Mention

The Christmas Pact was an adorable read. The publishing company setting was fun, and I loved the concept of how the characters knew each other. The characters were well developed, and once they met in person, they had amazing chemistry and great banter. The conflict felt forced, but the epilogue after it was resolved completely made up for it. Overall The Christmas Pact was fun and had the perfect amount of Christmas cheer without being over the top.
