i love nick and charlotte so much. nick is so in love with her it’s so cute!!

i really enjoyed this book! they both have shops next to each other and gradually fall in love. nick has some residual pining from a decade ago which is so adorable. this book was very centred on their relationship and charlotte’s shop. and honestly i wasn’t mad about it. the adorable romance was constant and healthy. and their increasing support for eachother is heartwarming.

overall, i really enjoyed this book and absolutely love the dynamic between the both of them.

This book hurt my brain really bad oof. In the beginning of the story we see our mmc break up with his gf bc our fmc came back into town for the first time in 10yrs *jaw drop*. Once seeing this the characters just were not it they felt very bleh and unrealistic. For example, when looking at our fmc’s past we see how she was homeless at 13 and found her long lost grandma at 13 like HUH??? Like what

I finished this book in a couple days. The author’s writing style is very basic and not the highest quality but it dives right in and gets straight to the point. At the time of reading this I was craving a quick satisfying read, and this was just that. The buildup was fast but there, and as with the first book there was absolutely no climax. It’s a sweet fluffy read, and definitely one you can enjoy in one sitting. I feel like the addition of Link at first was random and not realistic, then turned quite cute. The chemistry between the two mcs was adorable, although (also something to note about the first book) the mmc was overly generous, to the point where it feels exaggerated and not real, always cooking and taking care of her, but not always her doing the same back…idk. So again, not the best literature but definitely a cutesy one.
