One night, Selena pulls over for a bad storm and is approached by escaped convict Lex (Lexington) and gives him a ride (clearly unaware that he is a convict)
Through their adventures of him getting this ride, he discovers that his “Rabbit” (to his coyote/wolf) is married to another kind of monster.
Following their story was a rollercoaster. A lot of emotions to unpack here and their chemistry is obviously off the charts. I loved this dark smutty romance.
The only complaint I have is Lex’s back and forth on whether to have Selena on his journey or not. She proves over and over that she is brave and tough and he still tries repeatedly to send her away and as much as it frustrated Selena, it frustrated me — it’s a romance after all — all I want is for them to be together 😂😂😂

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The smut was soooo hot, and I think I would've gotten just as much out of reading it as I did listening to it. Not only that, but the story itself was intriguing. Literally every chapter I was thinking "Where is this going? How could this possibly end for them??" And I wasn't disappointed when my questions were answered every time.
