I didn't love this one - mostly the dropped plotlines and weird pacing was pretty in your face in this installment in the series.

-3 stars. the constant references to elvis songs got old fast.
still wish these would have been full length novels instead of novellas.

"are you sniffing me?"
"nope. i'm using lamaze breathing to attempt to cope with how badly wrong this date is going so far."

"i swear if this is uncle mike calling to make sure you're being a gentleman-"
"i already got that call about an hour ago. he asked me how i'm doing, and then casually mentioned how he'd always 'sorta, kinda' wanted to go on a tiger hunt, but he figured tigers had never done anything to him, so he'd left them alone, but that could always change."

"looking at you in that dress, i might feel my temperature rising."
"do you feel 'Burning Love'?"
"i think i might."
"try some antibiotics."
