An interesting look at our biggest organ! Neat bits of history, with social and cultural aspects too.

I cannot truly express how surprisingly amazing this book is. If you only look skin deep at the cover it seems like a dull book. However, with the writer's delicate, yet intriguing expertise in writing one can only marvel at the wonders of the skin. I honestly learnt so much and the writer's passion is definitely emanated from the pages, in his words and in writing. I really loved this so much and I recommend it to everyone!

More interesting than I’d anticipated, informative and not dry or dull — a really pleasant surprise.

Well, then. I just read an entire book about SKIN and was completely fascinated. What a weird year this is.

A fascinating, well researched and informative book about skin that made me learn a lot and gave me a lot of food for thought.
I thinks it's a great example of how science should be explained to people like me, informing and easy to understand.
I strongly recommend it.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
