The moments of shining anger, independence, and ambition elevate Little Women beyond the “moral pap” (Alcott’s phrasing) that was shoehorned in to sell books, and make it well worth reading.

I read this book way back when I was in primary school and multiple times at that. It is still one of my favorite books!

I loved this book so much as a child, but revisiting it as an adult while I still have a lot of nostalgia/fondness for it, a lot of aspects didn’t age super well/took me aback revisiting it as an adult.
