How does one talk to ghosts? You don’t. Rather, you come to an unspoken agreement: unparseable whispers will go unanswered, and they’ll just have to suck it up and deal.

a mixture of two stories coming together in a bit of a strange way.

one is the story of a group of international uni students in the USA coming together at a dinner hosted to help them feel more at home in a different country, bringing a wide range of people together.

the other about a character that hears voices and tries to ignore it as best as they can, while also not being able to throughout the dinner because of specific people and reactions to them.

it’s one of those horror stories that can’t really be put into any other genre but it also isn’t really gruesome, more of a mix of realistic horrors of what humans -the kind that we all know to be afraid of, the strange guys or people that are just slightly off and give a bad feeling-  are mixed with a sprinkle of supernatural tones.

it’s well written and interesting but at the same time i felt the ending was too abrupt and a bit unsatisfactory because it just leaves the story hanging without any real resolve or answers to anything.

An interesting premise, reminded me a bit of Riot Baby. Proselytizers are the worst.
