[audiobook]

not exactly my favorite style of writing, but an honestly incredible story. i chafed a little at the amount of pov jumps, and i rarely vibe with stories told by outside narrators. i did enjoy the depictions of the greek gods in this story though, and their personalities were pretty fun. honestly, i did tear up at a particular scene told through hades, which i found very touching. there were a lot of points where i saw predictable or formulaic plot points occurring, but i didn't mind because they were resolved at a really good pace and not frustratingly drawn out for half the book (probably thanks to divine intervention). this allowed the characters to really take their time and develop, along with their relationships, which i appreciated.
