I will say I’m not a huge fan of when they focus more on the side characters but when they get back to Hori and Miyamura, I LOVE.

Hori's psychological state is very concerning - as is Miyamura's confusion as to how he should respond to her requests (and when he does what she asks . . . what's going on inside his head?). don't get me started on her dad - I suspect the roots of her masochism come from her parents' relationship. there is a whole lot going on with the other characters' relationships/romances, and it's really compelling to watch this all unfold. the emotional depth of this series isn't just realistic, but I think really key in what makes it such a pleasure to read.
